Statutory certificates.Certificates as required by law for the ship to sail ,
window period +- 3 months, certs must be original, if have supplement certs, must be present.
MARPOL
- International oil pollution prevention certificate. Form A/B, a for other ships , B for tankers. valid for 5 years
- International pollution prevention certificate for carriage of noxious liquid substance valid for 5 years
- International sewage pollution prevention certificate valid for 5 year
- International air pollution prevention certificates valid for 5 years
- International ballast management
- International anti fouling system certificate
- International energy efficiency certificate valid for 5 years.
SOLAS
- Cargo ship safety construction certificate valid for 5 years
- Cargo ship safety equipment + FORM E – attachment valid for 5 years
- Cargo ship safety radio, + FORM R – attachement valid for 5 years
- International tonnage certificate; valid for lifetime
- International load line certificates , valid for 5 years
- International ship security certificate
- International certificate for ship carrying dangerous goods
- International certificate of fitness for carriage of liquefied gas valid for 5 years
- International certificate of fitness for carriage of dangerous chemical valid for 5 years
- Passenger ship safety certificate valid for 1 years
MLC
- Maritime labour certificate subject to audit +- 6 months valid for 5 years
- DMLC, declarance of cert part 1 issued by flag state, part 2 issue by owner.
- Minimum manning Cert
ISM
- Certificate in compliance with ISM code
- *Document of compliance valid for 5 years
- *Safety management certificate valid for 5 years
What is CIC? – Concentrated inspection campaign, conducted yearly from 1st Sept to 30 Nov
2019: Its focus will be to verify the readiness of crew and emergency equipment in case of emergency
2020: No CIC due to covid
2021: CIC on Stability (in general)
2022 – CIC on STCW
2023 – CIC on Fire Safety

IACS have 12 members, Singapore no accept india and Croatia.
