Possible causes:

- Flame eye dirty
- Pilot burner. ( DO tank empty, do pump not working, nozzle choked, igniter electrode> no voltage, position wrong, fouled or gap too much)
- Air/ fuel ratio incorrect
- Air fuel ratio adjusting linkage incorrect
- ACC failure
Main burner
- Valve shut
- Filter choked
- Pump faulty
- Water in fuel
- Temperature too low
- Vapor lock
- Poor atomization
- Force draft fan too slow, damper outlet blocked
- Emergency stop button active
Safety
- Purge boiler for 3-5 minute each attempt
- No more than 2 retry
- Check water level
- Ensure steam sufficient to supply to steam consumption
Actions
- Clean flame eye
- Check if pilot burner igniting
- Electrode to clean and gap checked
- Pilot burner line pump filter check
- Restart boiler
- If pilot burner ok , rectify main burner
- Clean suction filter
- Pump pressure check
- Check service tank for water
- Pressure and temperature of fuel
- Check if air fuel ratio okay
- Fire after purging
- Once flame is okay, change to auto. Check Flame color, DO- orange, Hfo- brown orange
