Possible causes:

1. 1. 1. 1. Flame eye dirty 
         2. Pilot burner. ( DO tank empty, do pump not working, nozzle choked, igniter electrode>  no voltage, position wrong, fouled or gap too much)
         3. Air/ fuel ratio incorrect
         4. Air fuel ratio adjusting linkage incorrect
         5. ACC failure

Main burner 

1. Valve shut 
2. Filter choked 
3. Pump faulty
4. Water in fuel
5. Temperature too low
6. Vapor lock
7. Poor atomization 
8. Force draft fan too slow, damper outlet blocked
9. Emergency stop button active 

Safety 

1. Purge boiler for 3-5 minute each attempt
2. No more than 2 retry
3. Check water level 
4. Ensure steam sufficient to supply to steam consumption

Actions 

1. Clean flame eye 
2. Check if pilot burner igniting 
3. Electrode to clean and gap checked
4. Pilot burner line pump filter check
5. Restart boiler
6. If pilot burner ok , rectify main burner 
7. Clean suction filter 
8. Pump pressure check
9. Check service tank for water
10. Pressure and temperature of fuel 
11. Check if air fuel ratio okay
12. Fire after purging
13. Once flame is okay, change to auto. Check Flame color, DO- orange, Hfo- brown orange
