what is those 10k 40 or 5k 25 marking you see on the valves?
10K – is the pressure limit, 25 is the norminal size of the pipe. Sometimes the valve is too badly corroded to know its marking on the valve itself. A trick is to just look at the system drawing, by right all drawings will indicate the pipe norminal size.
those 15A,25A, 40A, 100A. 150A along the pipes in the drawings are all pipes norminal sizes.
also in impa book, all the physical measurement in reality are not exact to the impa book. i normally go by the norminal size, and the other measurements are approximately same.
Take note there are difference in standard for valve. DIN and JIS. DIN – German standard, JIS – japanese industrial standard. just make sure you order the correct valve, the number of holes, sizes differs.
For butterfly valves, how to order is just check your pipe size from drawing. 40A ? then order the DN 40. 100A then order DN 100. The buttery valves i came across only label its sizes on the butterfly Disc.
For fittings, the commons are 1/4, 3/8, in inches.
1/4 for normal pressure gauges, Spanner ¬17, 3/8 for bigger pressure gauges, spanner ¬24.
