 Risk assessment must be done prior

In case of Settling tank choked

• 1. Put FO transfer pump to manual mode and stop.
  2. Stop purifier
  3. Lower the settling tank level to as low possible to overflow tank using manual drain
  4. Use air/steam connection, blow the choked pipe as well as putting hot water on the valve
  5. Never use snake wire to clear and do not hammer

 

In case of Service tank choked,

1. Change over me suction to high suction,
2. Stop purifier
3. Manually lower the service tank level as much possible by draining to o/f
4. Use air/steam connection, blow the choked pipe as well as putting hot water on the valve
5. Never use snake wire to clear and do not hammer
