Revalidation of CoC

The following is accurate as of Feb 2023, based on email from MPA.

Below are the steps to proceed with revalidation of your COC

Submit online application. The documents required can be found from the website. Read Shipping Circular no. 9 of 2020 and Shipping Circular no. 11 of 2021 on meeting requirements for STCW 2010 so as to revalidate COC for 5 years.

a) For revalidating Deck COC, please submit online application through https://form.gov.sg/6245244065c58700129e89dc

b) For revalidating Engine COC, please submit online application through https://form.gov.sg/625f69d7f31921001336e1e2

c) Application for Tanker Endorsement Assigned Duties (TEAD-Lower Level) Please submit online via https://form.gov.sg/62625581f3192100137624a1

d) Application for Tanker Endorsement Immediate Responsibilities (TEIR-Higher Level) Please submit online via via https://form.gov.sg/626643a700c1b800119dac23

– COC field can be skipped for Tanker endorsement application, we will update once COC is revalidated.

For Singaporean/PR, you can access via singpass : https://login.singpass.gov.sg/spservice/welcome

Please note there is no need to post original COC.

1. Application fee is SGD$25 each. Cash payment & Cheque is not acceptable. Online payment details are on the e-confirmation page (after submission of application).
2. Certificate will be posted via normal registered mail, there are no courier fee.
3. Email to us (coc@mpa.gov.sg) supporting documents if you are unable to upload in the application.
4. Medical fitness details on shipping circular No.11 of 2021
5. If eligible, the COC will be revalidated for 5 years from date of processing.
6. Processing time is at least 1 to 2 weeks.

Total fee of $43 for revalidation of COC (Application fee of $25 & $18 COC booklet fee) to our bank account.
