Purifier, how to check efficiency? & senors attached

Operational condition

1. Check the supply pump filter is clean
2. Check correct oil temperature, lower the viscosity better purification
3. Check purifier motor load for ampere
4. No vibration
5. Correct throughput. FO- 15% of fuel consumption, LO- 1/3 of maximum capacity
6. Check for correct back pressure
7. Check for correct desludge timing
8. Check for sludge or oil leakage form sludge outlet
9. Check for correct water pressure for bowl opening and closing
10. Monitor sludge tank level

Mechanical condition

1. Check condition of foundation
2. Check oil casing and change oil at regular interval
3. Check condition of gear or belt device
4. Check friction pad condition
5. Insulation resistance test of motor regularly
6. Check bearing condition
7. Check spring condition for shock absorber
8. Check for correct height of vertical shaft
9. Check for any leakage water from opening/closing water lines
10. Check bowl for any sign of scoring
11. Bowl and disc cleaning at regular interval
12. Check condition of sealing and O-rings
13. Heater to be clean and inspected at interval
14. Correct operation of solenoid valve
15. All panel indication lights working
16. All purifier alarms tested

• Oil high low temperature
• Backpressure of oil
• Desludge failure alarm
• Oil leakage alarm

Purifier Disludging sequence 

• 1. Bowl is spinning at full rpm
  2. Feed valve is recirculating
  3. Bowl is empty and open
  4. Solenoid Operating water valve closes bowl
  5. Sliding piston got push up
  6. Solenoid for Sealing water opens
  7. Solenoid for desludge opens, sliding piston slide down bowl is flushed.
  8. Bowl returns to max speed
  9. Solenoid Operating water valve closes bowl
  10. Sliding piston got push up
  11. Solenoid for Sealing water opens
  12. 3 way valve open to feed
  13. Separation starts
