Operational condition
- Check the supply pump filter is clean
- Check correct oil temperature, lower the viscosity better purification
- Check purifier motor load for ampere
- No vibration
- Correct throughput. FO- 15% of fuel consumption, LO- 1/3 of maximum capacity
- Check for correct back pressure
- Check for correct desludge timing
- Check for sludge or oil leakage form sludge outlet
- Check for correct water pressure for bowl opening and closing
- Monitor sludge tank level
Mechanical condition
- Check condition of foundation
- Check oil casing and change oil at regular interval
- Check condition of gear or belt device
- Check friction pad condition
- Insulation resistance test of motor regularly
- Check bearing condition
- Check spring condition for shock absorber
- Check for correct height of vertical shaft
- Check for any leakage water from opening/closing water lines
- Check bowl for any sign of scoring
- Bowl and disc cleaning at regular interval
- Check condition of sealing and O-rings
- Heater to be clean and inspected at interval
- Correct operation of solenoid valve
- All panel indication lights working
- All purifier alarms tested
- Oil high low temperature
- Backpressure of oil
- Desludge failure alarm
- Oil leakage alarm
Purifier Disludging sequence
-
- Bowl is spinning at full rpm
- Feed valve is recirculating
- Bowl is empty and open
- Solenoid Operating water valve closes bowl
- Sliding piston got push up
- Solenoid for Sealing water opens
- Solenoid for desludge opens, sliding piston slide down bowl is flushed.
- Bowl returns to max speed
- Solenoid Operating water valve closes bowl
- Sliding piston got push up
- Solenoid for Sealing water opens
- 3 way valve open to feed
- Separation starts
Where are sensors connected?
Oil inlet pressure sensor
Oil outlet pressure sensor
Revolution signal senor
Leakage alarm- when the backpressure pressure too little indicate leakage
