Finished my NS earlier this year and I have been working as a fitter at a shipyard in Tuas since. Thinking of applying for the next engine cadetship intake instead of going for a diploma first. Those who applied with some hands-on experience already – did it carry any weight during the selection? Or is it only O-levels and the interview that matter?
